What is the EEC Startup Challenge?
The EEC Startup Challenge is a renowned showcase of innovative projects, designed to connect creators of groundbreaking ideas with investors and business leaders. It’s a unique opportunity for young companies to present their solutions to a broad audience and validate their market potential.
In this year’s edition, the 15 best startups will qualify for the finals, competing during the European Economic Congress (EEC)—the largest business event in Central Europe. Finalists will present their innovations at the International Congress Center in Katowice before a jury and congress participants.

Startups in the competition compete across five key areas:

- CLIENT & LIFESTYLE – Retail, customer experience, fintech, gaming, education

The EEC Startup Challenge Final and Gala at the European Economic Congress
On April 28, the 15 best startups qualifying for the grand finale of the EEC Startup Challenge will be announced. The competition results and award ceremony will take place during the European Economic Congress (April 23–25, 2025) in Katowice. This is a tremendous opportunity for innovative companies to gain recognition, attract investors, and establish strategic partnerships.
